VII. dressing style Unlike the majority of females Robin wears clothes made for males. The only daughter of a poor family meant having to rely on hand-me downs from her three brothers. The clothes she tends to favour include a pair of plain pants, a shirt in various stages of disrepair and sometimes a waistcoat or neckscarf and her younger brother’s old riding boots. The only clothes she owns is a single plain brown dress for occasions where she is required to dress like a girl.

0IIX. overall personality Robin is a complex person where what you see is defiantly not what you get. On the surface she could best be described as cold, distant and sometimes a little mean. Yet it is all a mask she wears to hide what she really feels, she is in actual fact both caring and considerate and loves her family fiercely.
She is a skilled liar, and regularly employs her abilities, much to the disappointment of her mother, to get out of doing important yet boring tasks or to convince both herself and others that she really doesn’t care. She runs with the philosophy that keeping people at arm’s length would mean they can’t hurt her, and she can’t hurt them so if they ever found out she preferred her own sex, that she was a werewolf or one of her various other secrets then she wouldn’t hurt, or they wouldn’t care enough to hurt her.

0VI. overall history Long before Robin was born a lowly servant fell in love with his masters daughter. The daughter returned those feelings and the two were wed, causing the servant to lose his job and the daughter to be disowned. These two people would go on to have two twin sons James and John and then along came another child. For the longest time they were sure their third child would be a boy, and so had chosen the name Robin in honour of Cedric’s brother. Much to their surprise the child was born a girl, but the name remained the same.
When Robin was three years old there mother welcomed a fourth child into the house, another brother for Robin. The family were incredibly poor, her father’s job as a farmhand and her mother’s job making matchsticks meant the family had little money for anything. Their fortunes faired a little better on Robins 5th birthday when a wealthy Lord moved into the town, providing employment for her father at a wage that was a substantial amount over her current pay. Still with four children the family remained poor.
Growing up she was treated as one of the boys, even receiving their hand me down’s, and chores around the house. Her father’s boss also took a special interest in her after she had gone to work with her father one morning and had taken to playing the piano in the servant’s quarters. Throughout her life the wealthy Lord would nurture her talent, teaching her to play and giving her access to the pianos in the house at any time.
Growing up she remained close to all her brothers, but remained closer to Michael, who was physically weak and particularly gullible, he also spent much of his time ill. As they grew older Michael required much looking after and a great deal of money on his treatments, which his parents could no longer afford. One night she heard her parents talking about not buying more medicine, and letting Michael die peacefully instead of suffering. Not wanting her brother to die she hatched a plot that would both keep him alive and heal the burden on the family.
The next morning she persuaded Michael into going into town to pick the pockets of the wealthy, hoping to earn enough to buy his medicine. Things did not go their way and after the appearance of police her brother was caught. Robin, the faster and smarter of the two managed to evade capture. Later that night the family received the news of her brother’s arrest and his new home in the workhouse. That night was the first and only time she felt her heart rip in two, it was also the first time her parents really yelled at her, and it was also the time she learnt not to feel anything.
Becoming a teenager was an isolating time for Robin, who had imposed upon herself a restriction of caring about her family, of caring about anyone. So she spent her days reading in the many open fields, or playing the piano in the secluded rooms of the Lord’s house. Her teenage years were also when she became a werewolf.
She was on her way home from visiting her brother in the workhouse for the first time since the incident, where she told him about her liking of girls. The admission brought about an argument that ended with much verbal abuse from her beloved brother. He would later apologise for this, but it would remain the last thing she ever told him. While walking home that night she took a little detour, where she witnessed something she only ever saw in her dreams, a man turning into a huge wolf like creature. Before she could even register what was happening the beast was upon her, leaving her with a single bite mark on her shoulder and a torn top.
She would later see the man leant against a tree just outside of their little house. Beckoning her out to him they went on a walk where he explained to her the situation, and what she had become. She took the news surprisingly well, and she took to being a werewolf even better. It gave her freedom, and it gave her a sort of friend who expected nothing of her but to keep this secret. It also gave her a place to retreat to, a place that she would still use even after her sires death at the hands of a stranger she did not know.
She currently still lives with her parents, earning money by doing odd jobs wherever they may be.
